LOCATION OF OUR FACILITY:

Our Alexandria facility is centrally located in the heart of Old Town, adjacent to both the King Street Metro and Amtrak. Our office sits at the back of Diagonal Road and our entrance is located in the courtyard next to Embassy Suites. After entering the lobby, proceed to the third floor and you will see our office (Suite 300) as soon as the elevator doors open.

From the King Street Metro

Take the yellow or blue line to the King Street Metro stop.
Exit the Metro Station via the escalators and walk straight towards the parking lot.
Cross Diagonal Road and enter our building (1800 Diagonal Road), which is located on the left side of the courtyard, to the left of Embassy Suites.

PARKING:

Garage Parking

A Colonial Parking garage is located in our building on Diagonal Road. After entering the garage on Diagonal Road, please speak to the garage attendant and tell him that you are a visitor of Metro Research. The attendant will then direct you to a parking location and he/she can also assist you into the building if needed. Please note that there is a fee for parking in this garage: $10 per hour with a max of $16 per day. If you enter the parking garage after 5:00pm, there is a maximum fee of $7.00. Once you have parked your car, enter through the dark blue door that says “Diagonal Road”. Take the elevator to the third floor and enter our suite, Suite 300.

Street Parking

Weekdays

Metered parking is available on the streets and there is a two hour time limit prior to 7:00pm. A metered parking lot is also located across the street at the King Street Metro station. The rate is $1 per hour for up to 7 hours.

Weekends

There is no charge to park on the street or in the lot on weekends.

GENERAL DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

From the Capital Beltway

Take the Telegraph Road exit, Exit 176-B North toward Alexandria.
Stay in the right lane and take the second right on to Duke St/ Rt.236 towards Downtown Alexandria.
Proceed through two lights. At the 3rd light, make a left onto Diagonal Road and our building will be on the right.
Please use the 2nd parking garage on the right and refer to the above parking information on accessing our building.

From Washington, D.C.

Take 395 South towards Richmond.
Go across the 14th Street Bridge and follow signs for the George Washington Parkway towards National Airport.
Pass the airport and continue onto the George Washington Parkway, which will turn into Washington Street.
Stay on Washington Street for approximately 2 ½ miles and make a right turn onto King Street.
Follow King Street several blocks and make a left on Dangerfield Road, which is just before the overpass.
Make your first right onto Diagonal Road (you will see the King St metro on the right hand side).
Our building will be on the left. Please use the 1st parking garage on the left and refer to the above parking information on accessing our building.

Proceed to the airport exit and follow the sign towards Alexandria, via the George Washington Memorial Parkway South.
Continue on the Parkway for approximately 2 ½ miles and make a right turn onto King Street.
Follow King Street several blocks and make a left on Dangerfield Road, which is just before the overpass.
Make your first right onto Diagonal Road (the King Street Metro will be on your right).
Our building will be on the left.
